Grade 7: £31,604 - £38,833 with a discretionary salary range to £42,418 p.a.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Events Manager to fill an exciting and important position at the University of Oxford. The postholder will deliver excellent events as part of our successful, prestigious and innovative stewardship programme. The role would suit a highly versatile and self-motivated team player with a keen eye for detail.

With substantial event management experience, an understanding of the importance of donor care, and a proven ability to deliver to the highest professional standards, you will be highly organised. You will have excellent communications and interpersonal skills as well as high levels of tact and diplomacy. You will thrive in a complex and demanding environment with a reputation for excellence.

The Events Manager position is a key role within the Development Office’s busy Campaign Relations team, which thanks and recognises the contributions of major donors. The University of Oxford’s Development Office is a dynamic, professional and internationally-renowned fundraising organisation. It leads the £3bn Oxford Thinking campaign – the biggest and most ambitious fundraising campaign for higher education in Europe. The Office champions partnership with academic and development colleagues throughout the collegiate University to build enduring relationships with external constituencies – including alumni, non-alumni, corporate and foundation donors.
