The Queen's Veterinary School Hospital is looking for a pro-active, adaptable team player to work in the Reception area of both the Small and Large Animal sections as part of the Hospital Administration Team.  This is a full time position working an early and late rota (8.15am ¿ 4:45pm and 9.15am ¿ 5.45pm) with one hour for lunch each day, some flexibility is required.

You will be the first point of contact for our clients, therefore a friendly manner, combined with excellent communication skills are essential. You will be responsible for receiving incoming calls and faxes, billing clients and taking payments, booking appointments, liaising with clients, referral practices, clinicians, nurses and students and therefore knowledge of medical terminology would be advantageous.

The ability to plan and prioritise your own workload is essential along with being able to work within a team environment.

You should have a good knowledge of IT systems and should be numerate, accurate and have an eye for detail.  You will be educated to 'A' level standard or have experience in a similar working environment.
