Research Associate: Cardiovascular disease in Sierra Leone

Grade 6, Spine point 31, £33,518 Per Annum, (London Weighting Allowance of £2,923 per annum will be paid, in addition to salary, while working in London for 2 months)

6 month Fixed-Term Contract until 28th February 2019.

We are seeking to appoint a fixed term research associate to collect and analyse qualitative data on access to care for cardiovascular diseases in Sierra Leone and also give some support to a parallel quantitative project. The post holder will lead the qualitative research and will have the possibility to contribute to the analysis of the quantitative data. Contributing to research papers resulting from the project will be encouraged and supported.  The post holder will need to be able to work independently and have experience in working in lower or middle-income country settings. They should hold an PhD in a relevant discipline and want to grow their research and leadership skills. The successful applicant will be supported and mentored by an international team of world leading experts in cardiovascular diseases, qualitative research, and quantitative data analysis.
