Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Tourism and/or Hospitality Management

Leeds Beckett University - School of Events, Tourism and Hospitality Management

We are looking for a well-qualified academic to join a team of scholars dedicated to researching and teaching students planning to enter the tourism or hospitality sectors.  We will consider any area of specialism but the successful candidate must be able to adapt to a changing higher education landscape and demonstrate the potential to add to our collective strength.  A track record of research is highly desirable.

If successful, you would be joining a dynamic and ambitious school that has a reputation internationally for excellence.  The School’s mission is to inspire and educate the events, tourism and hospitality leaders of tomorrow so that they can make a positive difference in the world.  We have secured several accolades over recent years: 5 stars by QS, the international ranking agency, for our Hospitality and Leisure Management provision (2017), TEDQual accreditation for our MSc in Responsible Tourism Management, and we are deemed to be a Centre of Excellence by the Institute of Travel and Tourism (ITT) and the Association of British Professional Conference organisers (ABPCO).  Your research and other professional aspirations would be encouraged and supported by Dr Peter Robinson, Head of the Centre for Tourism and Hospitality Management, Professor Dorina Buda and Professor Chris Cooper.
