Programme Coordinator (Fixed Term)

The University Library (UL) is seeking a committed and enthusiastic professional coordinator of programmes and projects and related administration to work within the Programme Support Office. 

This role will provide effective and proactive programme and project coordination and related administrative services to meet the needs of the Programme Support Office. A key programme for the Office is the Library Storage Facility (LSF). The role is expected to be a busy and demanding role and the role holder will frequently act as a key contact and conduit to facilitate problem solving, identifying resources to drive project activity strands as well as supporting the Programme Managers in a range of Programme and Project tasks (i.e. procurement, programme documentation, secretariat to committees and groups, communications and stakeholder engagement). The role holder will work closely with a range of University staff and external consultants, and facilitate the Library's ability to progress programmes and projects with operational effectiveness. 

The role holder  will co-ordinate a range of  activities  including (but not limited to), the development and maintenance of programme or project plans and associated documentations, communication, financial planning activity, meeting secretariat  and logistics, follow up activity and  participation in programme and project team meetings.

Reporting to the Programme Managers, this role ensures that business processes and programme/project needs are progressed promptly and appropriately. 

The role will offer the role holder an opportunity to develop programme and project management skills and experience within a Cambridge University context.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 6 months in the first instance.
