Job Details

Ready to build valuable relationships?

We’re looking for an Alumni Relations Manager to develop our regional club network and international alumni events programme, and, in doing so, build an engaged alumni community invested in the success of the London Business School.

The Role

Can you create a community invested in our success?

In 2016, we celebrated the success of our first comprehensive fundraising campaign, having raised £125m and over 124,000 volunteering hours. Our alumni are incredibly valuable to our success and engaging them in our future is essential. In this role, you’ll be doing something that really matters – playing a significant role in helping us achieve our vision: to have a profound impact on the way the world does business, and the way business impacts the world. As well as developing a strategic plan to engage our alumni through club networks and events, you will also travel internationally, build key relationships, support our volunteers and be a professional and personable representative for the School. Here you’ll:

  • Develop an engagement strategy for 90+ international alumni clubs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all Club Leaders and committee members, to guide, support and motivate
  • Plan and deliver biennial Club Leader Conference in London
  • Plan and deliver annual Worldwide Alumni Celebration in around 100 cities
  • Be the connection point between alumni clubs and the rest of the School
  • Develop a strategy to enhance faculty participation in club events across the world
Who We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Two to three years’ experience in relevant role/industry
  • Proven project-management experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to interpret data and adapt strategy accordingly
  • Be focused, energetic and self-motivated

Be part of an international network

We’re a global institution: 94% of our students and 86% of our faculty members are international, with our staff also representing 51 nationalities. Together, we’re bringing together a variety of widespread perspectives that help us have a profound impact on the way the world does business. Based in London’s Regent’s Park, this is an opportunity to work in one of the world’s most important financial, entrepreneurial and cultural centres.

Why London Business School?

Our vision is to have a profound impact on the way the world does business. This can only be achieved through our people; with 93% of our staff saying they are proud to work here and being consistently ranked among the best in the world for our MBA, global Executive MBA and Masters in Finance programmes you will have an opportunity to be part of this journey.

Benefits We Offer

As an employee at London Business School you will enjoy a generous holiday entitlement, on site swimming pool, sauna and gym, automatic enrolment to the Universities Superannuation Scheme (a defined benefit workplace pension scheme) and season ticket loan facility.
