The post is funded by Borne, a charity founded with the aim of understanding and prevention of pre-term birth. 

The post holder will help to supervise PhD students, lead project development and submit publications to journals. 

A PhD or equivalent is required in molecular biology or a closely related discipline. Experience in biochemical techniques used to investigate ligand binging, GPCR internalisation second messenger (cAMP, CA, IP3 production and post-transcriptional modifications.  Knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as Gibson assembly or BSA cloning, confocal microscopy and FRET, RNAseq, mRNA FISH expression and purification of recombination proteins and ELISA development are essential.

This post is full time for a fixed term of 2 years in the first instance.
