Part-time Research Project Support Officer (0.5 FTE)

We invite applications for this part-time Research Project Support Officer (50% FTE) position on the European Research Council funded project National Parks and people: Resolving the links between poverty and rule-breaking. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with an interest in conservation science and skills in activities including reviewing and synthesising scientific literature, providing logistical support to national and international members of research teams, writing and designing website material, creating content and maintaining a professional social media profile, and monitoring project finances and budget. The candidate will join a dynamic team passionate about national and international conservation and may have the opportunity to register for a PhD within the project. 

Applicants should have a good honours degree in conservation or other relevant area of the natural or social sciences (MSc desirable) and experience in project management. 

The successful candidate will be expected to commence 01 September 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter and the post is available for a period of 36 months.
