An exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of case studies to illustrate the impact of our research. You will work under the direction of the Director of Impact and Director of Research across Newcastle University Business School. You will liaise with Impact Case Study Leaders, Unit of Assessment Coordinators and other members of the academic staff to assist with the development of impact case studies for submission to the 2021 Research Excellent Framework exercise. The role will involve liaison with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Impact Officers, School Research Support and Research and Enterprise Services staff.

You will have excellent information search skills, and an ability to distil and communicate complex activity. Working easily with academic staff at all levels, organising and managing data and information are essential. You will have excellent writing and communication skills, and a flair for identifying and conveying the societal impact of the School’s research to a public audience.  You must hold a PhD.

The position is on a fixed-term or a secondment basis until 26 September 2018 and is available immediately. Contract extension subject to funding. Please secure line manager permission in advance of application if applying on secondment basis.
