We’re looking for a person with a can-do attitude to join our team as a Career Centre Researcher.

The Role

Ready to empower careers with sharp research?

As a Career Centre Researcher, you’ll source interesting, up-to-date, and relevant information on career management, recruitment and selection, learning and labour market trends, before using your excellent communication skills to share it with our Career Centre team seamlessly and effectively. A naturally curious, resourceful self-starter, you’ll build relationships internally and manage relationships with external stakeholders, getting hands on to help the team as required. Here you’ll:

  • Source information from a wide range of reliable sources to enhance knowledge and fill colleague resource gaps.
  • Implement a process for straightforward collation, storing, and accessing of information.
  • Design and implement a process to communicate information with the Career Centre team.
  • Take ownership of career information resources and supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Library to create a comprehensive online resource guide for students on career and research resources available.
  • Ensure the resources links for students on the online platform are up to date and functional.
  • Make sure Career Centre resources are consistently branded across all formats.
Who We Are Looking For
  • Degree educated or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Excellent researching and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and a can-do attitude.
  • Curious and a natural sharer of information.
  • Experience working and managing third-party suppliers.
  • Advanced analytical and reasoning skills with a creative approach to problem solving.
  • A customer-focused approach with a drive to deliver outstanding experiences.
  • Good organisational skills and a sound attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of online learning and a great customer-service attitude desirable.
