Administrative Officer- Curriculum and Quality Assurance, Faculty of Medicine

This post presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated administrator to join our busy Curriculum and Quality Assurance (CQA) Team in the Faculty of Medicine. You will work as part of an effective team within the Faculty, with academic colleagues and colleagues across the Student and Academic Administration workstream to ensure effective and professional support for all aspects of the Faculty’s quality assurance and curriculum activities. Major elements of the post will be; making arrangements for and attending Academic Appeals, Fitness to Practise investigations, programme reviews and Quality Assurance visits to NHS Trusts, servicing committees, administration of student evaluations, the annual reporting process and external examiner reporting process. 

You will be a team player with excellent communication, organisational and inter-personal skills. You must be able to demonstrate that you can work accurately with a proactive approach to reviewing processes and the ability to interpret and work within policies and procedures. You must have experience of taking minutes and be able to summarise meetings accurately. Experience of dealing with complaints and appeals and working with data sets would be an advantage.
