We are looking to recruit a Strategic Projects Manager with proven experience in delivering complex change projects to schedule and within budget.
The Strategic Projects Manager will join the University Planning Team, which is responsible for strategic planning, annual operating and business plans, data reporting to external statutory bodies, internal management information, academic planning and oversight of Corporate Projects and Business Process improvement. The post-holder will work alongside other project and process improvement managers.
The primary function of this post is to manage strategic projects which support delivery of the University Strategic Plan. The postholder will lead on defining project scope, preparing project specifications, plans and business cases, and managing successful delivery of projects through to benefits realisation and lessons learnt. The ideal candidate will have experience in process review and improvement.
Strategic projects involve stakeholders at all levels within, and external to, the University. The postholder must be able to demonstrate effective communication and stakeholder management skills, and be committed to transformational change.
