Salary: £24,983 - £26,495 per annum, with progression to £28,936

We have an exciting opportunity for a Radiochemistry and Quality Control Technician to join the PET Tracer Production Unit (PTPU). The PTPU (which is part of the Centre for In Vivo Imaging) is based across two sites - Centre for Ageing and Vitality and the Bedson Building.  You will support the setting-up and validation of a new Quality Control laboratory which is to be installed in the PTPU facility within the Bedson Building. Subsequent duties will include production activities while actively leading the development, validation and implementation of Quality Control protocols as required by the regulatory authorities (i.e. MHRA).

You will need to have a minimum of an HNC/HND in a relevant subject together with laboratory experience. To be able to work both independently and as part of a team, have excellent time management and communication skills together with a willingness to learn new techniques and approaches.

The post is foxed term for 2 years.
