International Development & Study Abroad Team Leader

We are seeking to employ an International Development and Study Abroad Team Leader based on the Streatham Campus. This full time post is available from 4th June 2018 on a permanent basis. The post holder will facilitate mobility of students inbound and outbound to the University of Exeter Business School via a variety of international learning opportunities.

The Student Employability and Academic Success directorate is responsible for delivering world-class educational services to Colleges whilst ensuring the best possible experience for our students and academics.

The International Development and Study Abroad Team Leader will be expected to:

  • Provide an excellent customer-focused support service for students, teaching staff and external stakeholders.
  • Lead on the specific aspects of international learning opportunities, study abroad, student exchange, partnership development and management within the University of Exeter Business School International Development and Study Abroad team.
  • Work effectively within a wider administrative team to deliver a seamless service.
  • Attend Open Days and Offer Holder Visitor days (this will on occasion include weekends).
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from across the Colleges and campuses to ensure the best and most consistent service is provided to all students.

Key activities will include carrying out day to day planning, coordination, preparation and practical implementation of projects and new initiatives, develop and enhance the provision of information, advice and guidance for students, colleagues and external stakeholders.

The successful applicant for this post will have experience of working flexibly both as part of a team and by working independently, to deliver an outstanding customer service experience. You will have excellent administrative skills, experience or prioritising and working to tight deadlines and strong IT skills, as well as working in a culture of change and growth.
