Assistant Practice Manager (maternity cover)

Hours: 21-28 hours per week Monday to Thursday from 14th May 2018.

This post is available on a fixed term basis for 12 months

The Mackenzie Medical Centre is the clinical arm within the Centre for Population Health Sciences at The University of Edinburgh.

We are looking for an experienced practice manager with excellent communication skills to join our team for a period of one year. This is a temporary post and the incumbent will cover the duties of the assistant practice manager. There are 12 GPs, three practice nurses and a friendly and helpful admin team. The practice is a GP training practice and also participates in undergraduate teaching. All staff members are salaried to The University of Edinburgh. We are a city centre practice with a list size of 8,500 patients and our practice area covers south east Edinburgh and includes the Old Town, Dumbiedykes, Newington and Prestonfield, plus parts of Marchmont and the Grange.

Closing date: 04 May 2018 at 5pm

The practice uses Vision and Docman.
