Do you have a background in healthcare quality and efficiency? Can you help to develop those interested in a management or leadership role within the complex health service?
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute in postgraduate teaching and assessment in the area of health care quality. Working closely with the Course Leader, the primary role will be to support the MSc in Healthcare Operational Management designed to deliver grounding on health care quality and efficiency.
You will use your expertise to develop new training materials, such as handouts and for lectures, including use of innovative e-format options. You will also have the opportunity for personal development by engaging in a broad range of on-going activities within the Institute of Digital Healthcare (IDH), including the co-supervision of student projects.
You will have a postgraduate degree in one of these areas: quality improvement, public health with quantitative methods, industrial & systems engineering, patient safety, operations management/research, data mining/analytics or equivalent. You will also be skilled in at least one basic data analysis package such as SPSS, Stata, Matlab, or R, and have experience of presenting at lectures and workshops.
