This is an exciting opportunity to join a cross-disciplinary team at The University working on the development and translation of novel optical coherence tomography (OCT) from bench to bedside. You will be based in the Department of Eye and Vision Science but work closely with colleagues in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, clinicians at St. Paul’s Eye Unit in The Royal Liverpool University Hospital, researchers at Bangor University, industry and, public and patient support groups.

You will provide support to the project management in order to achieve the translation of the clinical OCT prototype into clinical practice. You should have a PhD in a relevant scientific discipline. Relevant knowledge and practical experience of OCT and image analysis would be beneficial. You should have excellent communication, verbal and in writing, excellent time management skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team will also be essential to this project. The post is available until 31 October 2020.
