The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £33,518 to £39,992 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

This post will a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2020

The School of Population Health and Environmental Sciences (www.kcl.ac.uk/lsm/index.aspx) is seeking to appoint a Research Associate in Social Science. We wish to appoint a post-doctoral researcher with a lively sociological imagination and qualified in anthropology, sociology or a similar discipline. Initially the post holder will work on action research projects looking at recruitment to a clinical trial and at promotion of a research focused culture. The post holder will join an established group of social scientists in The School of Population Health and Environmental Sciences and will work on a research programme in the National Institute of Health Research’s Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College London. The post-holder will be encouraged to develop novel studies that will attract external funding.

The selection process will include a panel interview, and a presentation.
