Lecturer in Theoretical/Computational Chemistry

The University of bradford wishes to appoint a lecturer in Theoretical/Computational Chemistry to commence as soon as possible. The post will involve both teaching and research. In particular the post holder will teach core physical chemistry to year 1 or 2 undergraduates.

We are seeking an expert in  any area of theoretical/computational Chemistry. However, the post holder will contribute to research in the two general research themes in chemistry, materials chemistry and chemical biology and biophysics, and we envisage the development of strong collaborations with these largely empirical areas.

The successful candidate will have a strong research record and some experience of teaching and ideally some success in winning funding. The School of Chemistry and Biosciences is a vibrant and growing interdisciplinary school and the post will be attractive to candidates with ambitions to build a research led career with a strong commitment to teaching.
