Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent within physics. Qualifications:
- Documented scientific qualifications such as an assistant professor equivalent in relation to the above mentioned subject area(s).
- The university’s teaching involves problem-oriented projects based on active student involvement. Half of the teaching responsibilities consist of project guidance; the other half consists of teaching traditional courses over the entire range of disciplines of physics. Experience with guidance of problem-oriented projects is an advantage.
- You are also required to be enterprising and to possess good interpersonal skills and to be a visible, active participant in the department’s daily activities, in addition to being willing to engage in disciplinary and interdisciplinary collaboration across the department.
Assessment:
In the assessment of the candidates consideration will be given to;
- research topic,
- scientific production and research potential at an international level,
- experience in teaching and education development and management,
- experience with popular dissemination (should be documented),
- teaching including possible experience with project guidance (should be documented).
- an all-round academic experience basis, preferably including international academic experience, e.g. from reviewing or editing academic papers or from organising research conferences or seminars,
- the applicant’s contribution to the general IMFUFA research and teaching environment,
- ability to contribute to development of the department’s internal and external cooperation.

Terms of employment:
The position will be filled according to the Agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). The position is covered by the Protocol on Job Structure.
