Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent within physics. Qualifications:

• Documented scientific qualifications such as an assistant professor equivalent in relation to the above mentioned subject area(s).
• The university’s teaching involves problem-oriented projects based on active student involvement. Half of the teaching responsibilities consist of project guidance; the other half consists of teaching traditional courses over the entire range of disciplines of physics. Experience with guidance of problem-oriented projects is an advantage.
• You are also required to be enterprising and to possess good interpersonal skills and to be a visible, active participant in the department’s daily activities, in addition to being willing to engage in disciplinary and interdisciplinary collaboration across the department.

Assessment:
In the assessment of the candidates consideration will be given to;

• research topic,
• scientific production and research potential at an international level,
• experience in teaching and education development and management,
• experience with popular dissemination (should be documented),
• teaching including possible experience with project guidance (should be documented).
• an all-round academic experience basis, preferably including international academic experience, e.g. from reviewing or editing academic papers or from organising research conferences or seminars,
• the applicant’s contribution to the general IMFUFA research and teaching environment,
• ability to contribute to development of the department’s internal and external cooperation.

Terms of employment:
