Full Time Benefits

  • Salary Range: £54,000 – 108,000 a year
  • Accommodation: A flat larger than 100m2 or a living allowance of up to £100,000, depending on years of service
  • Research Funding: At least £100,000 of funding at the start of a research project, depending on specific requirements
  • Workspace: Will cover an area of at least 150m2

Part Time Benefits

  • Salary range – c.£32,000 to £108,000 a year
  • Accommodation - A flat is provided.

Associate Professors & Lecturers

We are also looking for talented PhD students and lecturers at the start of their career. As well as good academic potential and a track record of achieving excellent research results, you should have written papers for high-level publications and have gained your PhD at a world-class university or research institute.

You will ideally be part of one of these provincial or national class projects:

  • New Century Excellent Talents of the Ministry of Education
  • The National Youth ‘one thousand plan’
  • Youth Cheung Kong scholars program of the Ministry of Education
  • Youth National Special Supporting Program
  • National Natural Science Foundation
  • Outstanding Youth Science Foundation.

Associate Professor Benefits

  • First contract – Will last between 3 to 5 years
  • Salary range - c.£16,000 to £32,000 a year
  • Accommodation – An apartment or a living allowance between £21,000 - £32,000, depending on years of service
  • Research funding – £10,000 – £32,000 at the start of a research project.

Lecturer Benefits

  • Salary - Around £10,800 a year
  • Accommodation - Flat or a living allowance between £10,000 to £21,000, depending on years of service
  • Research funding - £5,000 – £10,000 at the start of a research project.
