The department of Culture, Media & Creative Industries (CMCI) at King’s College London is delighted to be recruiting six exciting new posts to contribute to its existing and emergent strengths in high-quality research, face-to-face and online teaching, and professional and community engagement. With a newly-launched BA in Culture, Media and Creative Industries, three established international Masters courses (Arts & Cultural Management MA, Cultural and Creative Industries MA, and Global Media Industries MA), a thriving PhD programme, and plans to develop innovative online and offline short-courses and programmes, CMCI offers a collaborative, open and supportive academic environment that strives to create positive social, cultural, economic, and environmental change.

The department’s research was placed at number one in the UK for “power” in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework, with 80% of our research recognised as world-leading and internationally excellent (please visit the department’s publications wall for an overview of the types of research areas undertaken in CMCI). Supported by strategic priorities of inclusivity, sustainability, care, and reflexivity, and benefiting from its prime location at the heart of one of the world’s foremost cultural capitals, new post-holders will be joining a vibrant and forward-looking department that embraces interdisciplinarity, creativity and diversity, and which genuinely seeks to nurture students and staff alike.
