Do you want to help us deliver an environmentally sustainable UK?
At UKCEH, we have a long history of investigating, monitoring and modelling environmental change. We are investing in large scale infrastructure to monitor environmental change, using ‘intelligent’ environmental sensor networks with state-of-the art technology, linked to satellite data with cutting-edge data science to rapidly assess new climate policies.
We have created exciting new opportunities for skilled engineers, mathematicians/statisticians, physicists, and data specialists (e.g. in AI/machine learning) as we seek to expand our existing technical capability in environmental data collection and analysis.
Eight new roles are available, distributed across our four UKCEH sites in England, Wales and Scotland. You will work as part of a team to develop and deliver new skills and capabilities for environmental sciences, both in UKCEH and with our partners across academia, research centres and other sectors. You will further benefit from a 3-year structured learning and development programme, as part of our Research Associate Scheme.
Join our vibrant organisation with over 350 scientists/staff seeking to understand our environment, how it sustains life, and the human impact on it. You will gain knowledge and experience applying and growing your skills in an exciting, important and developing area of environmental science.
