Creative Industries Institute
Faculty of Arts, Humanities and
Social Sciences

An exciting opportunity to contribute to internationally recognised research and help shape the future of the creative industries.

Ulster is a university in the top 2% globally, where excellence in teaching is underpinned by world-leading research. Ranked as one of the world’s top 150 young universities and in the top 25% of UK universities for overall research, Ulster is ambitious, forward-thinking and outward-looking.

The Creative Industries Institute at Ulster is a £20million investment that will drive collaboration and consultation with industry, government and civic partners to generate advanced research with impact that will innovate, influence policy development and produce industry-ready graduates with the skills and experience required to energise the economic, social and cultural regeneration of the region.

It is part of an exciting programme of investment in new infrastructure and initiatives driven by a five-year strategic vision to deliver a university that is sustainable and innovative with a strong international reputation.

Building on a history that begins with the Belfast School of Art in 1849, Ulster’s Creative Industries Institute brings together a range of creative disciplines which consistently achieve the highest standards of excellence in teaching and research.

We are seeking to appoint talented and creative people with a genuine passion for their work, who will deliver outstanding research and teaching that encourages innovation, leadership and vision.
