As part of the continued development of the School of Psychology, applications are invited from candidates who can demonstrate an outstanding research profile, as evidenced by publications in leading academic journals and a track record of successful grant applications, commensurate with their stage of career.

Research within the School is structured around three themes: Cognition; Perception & Attention; and Social Cognition. While all staff and postgraduates are primarily associated with one theme, there are also a number of special interest groups both within and across themes. Applications are welcome from suitably qualified individuals whose interests complement and extend any of the School’s existing research strengths.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 8 salary scale, with placement according to qualifications and experience (£50,618 - £56,950).
