Role Summary:

This is a key post that will contribute to the ambitions of the University’s new Strategic Plan 2017/18 – 2022/23.

To co-ordinate and supervise the work of a team of Mental Health Mentors that support students with a range of mental health issues on a 1:1 basis to access their learning.

To provide on-going support and training to a pool of Mentors to ensure the delivery of a high quality service.

To ensure robust processes and procedures are established to satisfy external audit requirements and reimbursement of costs for services delivered from the relevant funding bodies.

To deliver 1:1 mentoring support to students. To help facilitate support arrangements for Cardiff Met students with external mentor providers.

Mae hon yn swydd allweddol a fydd yn cyfrannu at uchelgeisiau Cynllun Strategol newydd y Brifysgol 2017/18 – 2022/23.

Cydgysylltu a goruchwylio gwaith tîm o Fentoriaid Iechyd Meddwl sy'n helpu myfyrwyr ag amrywiaeth o broblemau iechyd meddwl ar sail 1:1 er mwyn cadw llygad ar eu dysgu.

Rhoi cymorth a hyfforddiant parhaus i gronfa o Fentoriaid er mwyn sicrhau bod gwasanaeth o ansawdd uchel yn cael ei ddarparu.

Sicrhau bod prosesau a gweithdrefnau cadarn yn cael eu sefydlu er mwyn bodloni gofynion archwilio allanol ac ad-dalu costau ar gyfer gwasanaethau a ddarperir gan y cyrff cyllido perthnasol.

Rhoi cymorth mentora 1:1 i fyfyrwyr. Helpu i hwyluso trefniadau cymorth ar gyfer myfyrwyr Met Caerdydd gyda darparwyr mentoriaid allanol.
