The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £34,635 per annum , inclusive of London Allowance.

This post is funded by NIHR. A main element of work of this post is a large programme of research including primary care physicians, health visitors, infants and their parents, secondary care physicians, and academics. The post involves the day-to-day management of this study along with other studies and projects. The methodology includes observational studies; behaviour change research; qualitative research; randomised trial; and health economics. The successful candidate will assist the chief investigator to ensure an effective delivery of the research programme. S/he will also work/collaborate with a team of co-investigators at various UK universities; with a clinical trial unit; with NHS clinicians in primary care and in hospitals; and with families of research participants.

The post is funded for 5 years in the first instance.

PhD in epidemiology, clinical research, public health or a related field, or MD; up-to-date Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certificate; excellent written and spoken English language skills (GCSE level A or above); significant experience with UK research ethics and governance procedures.
