Lecturer - Skills for Life (0.5 FTE)

Barnfield College

We are seeking to appoint a skillful, dedicated and enthusiastic lecturer to join our growing and outstanding Skills for Life team. This is the college provision responsible for learners with moderate learning difficulties and hence the ideal candidate will be able to adopt appropriate strategies to ensure that all learners develop the essential employability and life skills required to add value to their individual starting points.  

The ideal candidate will put Teaching, Learning and Assessment alongside student progress at the forefront of everything they do and will aspire to excellence in all areas of their work.  They will value student experience and make that the motivation behind aspiring towards excellence. 

Candidates will use ILT to enhance working practices as well as learning opportunities for students. They will be highly effective at managing their time and at meeting deadlines and will take being part of a collaborative team seriously.
