The Division of Occupational Therapy and Community Nursing is seeking to recruit a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy. We are seeking applications academics with excellent research profiles that will enhance the reputation of the Division through research and world class academic publications. Expertise in the area of either older adults or people with mental health conditions is desirable.

The Department of Clinical Sciences, within the College of Health and Life Sciences, provides a collegiate and collaborative environment for the conduct of nationally and internationally relevant research examining contemporary issues aligned with the College Research Centres and University Research Institutes.
Applicants will hold (SL) or be near completion (Lec) of a PhD and should have a research profile aligned to a Theme in the Institute of Environment, Health and Societies or one of the College’s Research Centres. Brunel University London is a research intensive University, therefore the successful applicant will be expected to produce high quality research and gain external research grants that contribute to the research profile of the Division. Experience of teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level is essential. Applicants will also be a registered Occupational Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or international equivalent.
An essential requirement is for the successful applicant to satisfy the requirements of checks by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
