Part Time : 18.25 hours per week (50% FTE)

The Bartlett Real Estate Institute, BREI, is a new global group that is rethinking the traditional view of real estate through critical evaluation of real estate within its wider societal, economic and environmental context. This post falls within BREI and the newly forged Bartlett Global Centre for Learning Environments, established to improve spaces of learning across the life course by understanding the connection between space, pedagogy, human cognition and development. A newly developed hub at Here East in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will be the base for short courses and degree programmes.

The person appointed will act as the main academic director for the new MSc in Learning Environments planned to commence in Sep 2019, will conduct original research in the subject, and generally contribute to the development of the Bartlett Global Centre for Learning Environments.

In addition to a PhD qualification the successful candidate will have specialist knowledge, understanding and expertise in the area of Learning Environments.

They will have demonstrated competence and capability in teaching, research and relations with practitioners nationally and internationally which complements existing expertise within the Bartlett.
