Job Purpose

To provide professional HR advice and support as a fully functioning business partner for designated service areas to ensure the delivery of a pro-active, solutions focussed HR service aligned to the achievement of the University’s strategic objectives. As a member of the University Services HR team, contribute to the development and implementation of HR policy and procedure on a local and University wide basis.

Standard Terms & Conditions

Salary will be on the Management, Professional and Administrative Grade, level 7, £34,520 - £38,833 per annum.

This post is offered on a full time (35 hours) and fixed term basis to cover maternity leave on a month to month basis up to 12 months, or until the substantive post-holder returns from maternity leave, or in the event of her resignation, whichever date is earlier.

New entrants to the University will be required to serve a probationary period of 6 months.

The successful applicant will be eligible to join the Universities’ Superannuation Scheme. Further information regarding the scheme is available from the Superannuation Officer, who is also prepared to advise on questions relating to the transfer of Superannuation benefits.
