It is an excellent opportunity for career development in a research unit with an established reputation in trials of complex interventions. You will work co-ordinating a multidisciplinary team involved in establishing and running a randomised trial of a group-based parenting programme for families with children aged 6-18 months facing a range of psychological and social adversities.

It is anticipated that you will coordinate all aspects of the research project. Specifically, the Research Fellow will be responsible for:

  • Producing regular trial progress reports for the co-investigators, independent Trial Steering Committee and the independent Data Monitoring Committee and for contributing to papers for peer-reviewed publications
  • Assisting in the trial process evaluation
  • Coordinating public engagement activities

You will be responsible to the lead of the Mellow Babies trial in respect of the general direction of the post, and to other senior staff in the context of specific assessments or other research/academic activities.
