We are looking to recruit an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join the existing infrastructure team and to help support and develop core IT services within the University. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide variety of rapidly changing systems and equipment within one of the Russell Group Universities. You will be a key member of a talented and friendly infrastructure team who deliver a wide range of systems to Professional Services, Academics and students.

You must have proven experience in: Windows Server 2012R2\2016; Administration within an Active Directory environment; Cloud based infrastructure as a service; Setup and management of Client\Server based applications. Expertise in 5 or more of the following areas is essential: Web server administration; Exchange 2013\2016; Office 365 administration; Database Server Administration; XenApp\XenDesktop Infrastructure Management and Application Publishing; Storage Area Network based File Storage; VMware\HyperV; Enterprise Backup technologies; Windows system monitoring; Server resilience including clustering and load balancing; Mobile device management; Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Management.

We are seeking an individual with a passion for what they do and the ability to work closely as part of a collaborative team is essential. You will be educated to Degree level or have recognised industry qualifications such as Microsoft certification.
