Newman University in Birmingham enjoys a strong and expanding profile in teaching Business Programmes. Our suite of courses for 2018/19 includes:

  • Foundation Year in Business Management
  • BA Business Management
  • BA Business & Marketing
  • BA Accounting & Finance
  • BSc Mathematics

We are seeking to expand our current pool of sessional lecturers on our Business Programmes for 2018/19.  

Applicants should have experience of teaching, preferably in HE, with excellent communication skills and the appropriate professional accreditation/registration.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and to give a 15 minute presentation on how they deliver interactive teaching to Level 6 students on a topic of their choice.

If you are successful at interview you will invited to join a pool of sessional lecturers and the Business Programmes Department will contact you if suitable work becomes available during the 2018/19 academic year. This is a zero hours contract whereby the number of hours available will be subject to course requirements, and may be offered at short notice.
