This is a full time post available from 3 September 2018 on a fixed term basis until 31December 2019 within the Centre for Ecology and Conservation on the Penryn Campus.

About this role

  • The post will participate in a project looking at the impact of diet on the health, productivity and nutritional value of edible insects for human food and animal feed.
  • You will be able to identify the best diet for feeding edible insects for food and feed and then create these optimal diets.
  • Experience in insect husbandry is essential and a track-record in nutritional ecology would be useful, alongside the ability to identify ways in which this research can deliver business impact within the regions agritech sector.

The project is based at the University of Exeter, Penryn campus, Cornwall.
