Grade 7 – Full time starting salary is normally in the range £29,799 to £38,832. With potential progression once in post to £41,212 a year.
We are seeking to appoint a new post within Human Resources to the role of Senior HR Advisor. This is a role predominantly supporting the HR team in the College of Medical and Dental Sciences on a range of generalist HR matters but specifically in support of clinical HR matters. Reporting to the HR Business Partner you will provide specialist knowledge on a range of clinical HR work such as the new pay and contract arrangements for junior doctors, recruitment of clinical academic staff, pay and reward of APAs, CEAs etc. Importantly you will take the lead to increase the knowledge of such arrangements with other staff within HR to ensure adoption of efficient and best working practices.
It is essential that you have the ability to work confidently with senior members of the University, and NHS. Understanding, interpreting and explaining complex information, proposing and delivering improved working practices. You should have significant experience of working in busy and demanding HR function within a generalist role and have extensive experience of a wide range of clinical and non-clinical HR issues - either directly for, or working with the NHS.
