The London Institute of Medical Sciences (LMS) at Hammersmith Hospital is a core funded MRC research institute and enjoys close links with its partners at Imperial College London and at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. The LMS research focuses on strengthening the basic science underpinning our understanding of human diseases and the translation of such high quality research into a clinical setting.
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant in Proteomics with an interest in protein biochemistry, instrumental analysis methods and modern Omics approaches, to work within the MRC LMS Proteomics facility. An in depth knowledge of biochemistry, analytical sciences and data analysis skills are required. Experience in high throughput Proteomics analysis and bioinformatics analysis of complex data sets would be a distinct advantage.
The post provides an excellent opportunity to work within a cutting edge Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics facility and a chance to collaborate with leading groups across the diversity of research areas within the MRC LMS. For more information, please visit www.lms.mrc.ac.uk.
