About us 

As a health regulator, our primary aim is to protect the public. Working in the Quality Assurance Department, you will assist in the delivery and development of the Education Department's quality compliance and assurance programme.

Introduction to the Department 

The Quality Assurance Department is responsible for ensuring that effective quality assurance processes and systems are in place across the organisation. The Department is made up of five teams: Service and Complaints, Business Process Improvement and the Registrations, Education and Fitness to Practise Quality Assurance teams.

Purpose and Main Duties 

Your main task will be to conduct a programme of audits and quality assurance activities, to help ensure compliance with legislation, policy, internal procedures and guidance. You will evaluate the quality of decision-making, outputs and outcomes, and help drive continuous improvement with the Education Department.

You will work collaboratively with the Education Department to convey audit outcomes and feedback and make recommendations for change and improvement.

Candidate Requirements 

You will have experience of conducting quality audits, monitoring compliance and providing feedback of findings to others. You will also have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders and good IT skills.
