The Appointment

This post involves working as part of a busy team supporting international undergraduate and post graduate students with their academic course and language development.   You will hold a first degree and the Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA).

The main duties and responsibilities of the post include:

  • Planning, preparing and delivering English language / EAP classes for monolingual and multilingual groups.
  • Setting and marking self-study and providing regular feedback.
  • Monitoring individual progress and development of English language skills and providing additional support through one to one support.
  • Maintenance of records of work/attendance as appropriate.
  • Liaising with academic staff on issues arising with individual student progress.
  • Attending regular staff meetings.
