Do you have experience of writing, editing and managing digital content? Are you interested in helping Oxford University meet its ambitious outreach objectives? Oxford’s Undergraduate Admissions and Outreach department are seeking a full-time Digital Content Officer to join their Communications team on a permanent basis.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of web, social and wider digital strategies, with the aim of delivering excellent standards of customer service and digital presences. Oxford’s Undergraduate Admissions website typically receives over 14 million visits each year and is the primary outreach and marketing tool for the University’s Undergraduate Admissions and Outreach team. This work will contribute to the recruitment of the very best undergraduate applicants with particular focus on attracting currently under-represented target groups.
As an experienced digital content officer manager, you will have advanced writing, editing and proofreading skills. You will be used to producing engaging material for target audiences and measuring its effectiveness. Excellent interpersonal skills are a key requirement of the role as the department’s core activities involve extensive contact with a broad range of people.
