Join a new breed of university, a university that is going places. Climbing in university rankings over the past five years, exceeding student satisfaction benchmarks for eleven years, awarded a TEF Gold for teaching excellence - the University of Portsmouth is an exciting institution. Come and be part of the incredible journey.
We’re looking for an experienced outreach professional to develop, lead and implement outreach strategies and initiatives to increase applications to the University from under-represented groups and achieve our Access and Participation plan targets.
The University of Portsmouth is undergoing exciting change and as Outreach Manager you will have the opportunity to shape and develop our approach to outreach and widening participation. You will direct, motivate and inspire the Outreach team to build strong relationships with pre-16 schools and deliver a programme of strategically focused, high impact outreach activity to engage pre-16 students, parents, teachers and advisers. You will be part of a highly skilled, professional and integrated marketing and communications team that are driving innovation and change.
As a strong leader, you will have excellent communication and project management skills. You will have a strong track record of devising, implementing and evaluating outreach activities and will be confident in using data and analytics to target activity and evaluate impact.
This is an exciting opportunity offering outstanding conditions and there has never been a better time to join the University of Portsmouth.
