AECC University College is a specialist higher education institution in health education and clinical training. AECC University College attained Taught Degree Awarding Powers and direct HEFCE funding in 2017. There are three Schools in the institution: School of Chiropractic, School of Medical Ultrasound and School of Psychology, Sports and Physical Activity.
The School of Medical Ultrasound delivers a postgraduate MSc Medical Ultrasound programme and short courses in a range of ultrasound applications including MSK, general, obstetrics and gynaecology. The current Head of School, Dr Pervez (‘Budgie’) Hussain, will retire in December 2018. AECC University College is seeking to appoint a Head of School to succeed Dr Hussain, ideally to start in post from 1st January 2019, and lead the School in its future development.
You will need a postgraduate qualification in diagnostic ultrasound, skills in a range of clinical applications including MSK, general, obstetrics and gynaecology, and leadership and management experience in the NHS and/or Higher Education.
