An opportunity has arisen to join the University of Cambridge reward team.

We are currently looking for a Reward Adviser to help deliver the University total reward strategy and support operational reward activity.  As well as providing remuneration advice, the role will lead on a number of key remuneration projects, which impact the whole University.

We are looking for this role to:

  • Provide advice and guidance to HR team members and the University on University reward policies and practice.
  • Use advanced excel skills and analyse large volumes of complex data accurately,  drawing conclusions and presenting recommendations.
  • Research and identify new approaches to reward to ensure the University's total reward package is competitive.
  • With the support of the Reward Manager, lead reward projects from planning to  completion.
  • Write and present options papers, reports and updates on project progress to support committee decision making and approval.
  • Deliver the University's benefits offering (salary sacrifice and non-salary sacrifice benefits).
  • Provide benchmarking services to allow reward decisions to be well informed.
  • Use good communication skills and influence internal stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the key stakeholders, for example wider HR team, to work effectively together.
