Applications are invited for the above post to coordinate the delivery of Manchester Enterprise Centre’s enterprise and entrepreneurship activities delivered across the University. This includes the administration for the University- wide Master of Enterprise programme and a number of postgraduate taught units.
You will also manage a number of extra-curricular entrepreneurship programmes that are delivered across the University throughout the year and are open to all students and recent graduates. You will also work closely with the Centre Director and other PSS staff to ensure the effective day to day running of the Centre including the efficient delivery of the Centre’s activities, line management of PSS staff and budget monitoring.
You will work closely with colleagues in the Manchester Enterprise Centre (MEC) and other groups across the University; such as UMIP, Careers, Development and Alumni Relations and Business Engagement; to support the delivery of the portfolio of MEC led enterprise and entrepreneurship initiatives ensuring information is disseminated in a timely way and to support the active engagement of students.
You will be an efficient administrator with excellent IT skills, including some experience of working with databases. You will have experience of a wide range of administrative tasks, excellent attention to detail and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client facing approach to customer service and a flexible attitude. You should be self-motivated and able to work flexibly and as part of a team; and be capable of managing your own workload without close supervision.
Previous experience of working in educational administration, preferably in a programme administration capacity in a Higher Education setting, is highly desirable.
Some out of hours working may be required.
