This post offers an excellent opportunity for a meticulous individual to support the Stroke Research group based at Keele University and University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
You will act as Trial Coordinator for several stroke research studies; managing and maintaining research protocols including ethics submissions/amendments, UK CRN portfolio registrations, the monitoring of patient recruitment numbers and writing reports on the status of trial data.
You should have a HND / Degree in a science subject or equivalent experience in a quantitative health related research role. You should also have evidence of, and ability to write reports and present data with a high level of competency in IT.
You would be expected to provide support for the recruitment and training of all research staff and to deal with any queries from recruiting sites or study participants.
You will be also be responsible for all data handling, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act and GCP guidelines.
