Applications are invited for a fixed term Post-Doctoral Research Associate (PDRA) position in Fellowship Proposal Preparation. This position is aimed at outstanding engineers and scientists at an early stage in their academic career that have an excellent academic track record, strong and growing publication record and are seeking to prepare a fellowship application to be hosted by the School of MACE and submitted before the end-date of this appointment. The research associate must show a high level of creativity and ambition in their research vision.
The purpose of this appointment is to facilitate the Research Associate to focus on full preparation of an application for a post-doctoral fellowship (e.g. EPSRC, RAEng, or similar fully funded scheme) that will subsequently be hosted within the School of MACE. The appointment will provide training and research skills development of the Early Career Researcher.
Applicants will be required to provide a CV and 2-page summarisation of the vision for the fellowship and the plan for fellowship development during the fixed term appointment. The applicant must demonstrate alignment of the proposed fellowship with research priorities of the School. Applications will be evaluated by the Head of School (HoS) and Director of Research (DoR)
