A Research Assistant position is available for 2 years to work in the research group of Dr Leigh Aldous.

The successful candidate will be a talented electrochemist, with a demonstrated track record. This should be in liquid-state electrochemistry; a wide range of experiences will be considered, but experience in solid state and ion-battery electrochemistry is not directly relevant. They will be expected to work on their own project (relating to solution-phase mediators and dissolved biomass for use in novel air-batteries) while also undertaking co-supervision of MSc and PhD students on electrochemistry-based projects. The post holder will also be self-motivated, highly organised and works well as part of a team.

This post will be a fixed-term contract for 24 months (2 years). 

This is a full time role.

The selection process will include a panel interview (with a brief presentation).
