The Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Science are seeking a Lecturer to join the team and to join the team responsible for delivery of courses relating to Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering. The School of Engineering is active in research and consultancy and has courses in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, the Built Environment and Electrical Engineering including Lighting and Live Event Technology.
The successful candidate will possess a range of skills necessary to complement and enhance scholarly activity within the department, and to assist its growing reputation. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high quality teaching, the duties of the successful candidate would include lecturing in Aircraft Structures, Aeronautical Design and Aeroelasticity engineering modules and involvement in the development and oversight of students activities and courses.
Your contribution to research and consultancy will be strongly encouraged, with support provided in the development of your personal research profile. The successful candidate will report in the first instance to the Head of Subject liaising with other academic staff in relation to Engineering awards.
