This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, highly motivated team that has a diverse range of professional and practitioner focussed programmes and modules, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In particular, you will take a lead role in the development, management and delivery of a range of contemporary short courses and workshops for registered nurses/health care professionals and Health Care Assistants, with a focus on Primary Care and General Practice subject areas.

You will demonstrate enthusiasm for practice based learning and teaching, as well as experience of and willingness to use a range of innovative technologies and strategies in the development and provision of high quality learning materials is essential.

The Department of Nursing, Health and Professional Practice is a diverse department consisting of a number of teams of healthcare professionals. We have a growing research profile and staff with a wide range of practice experience, which informs the teaching of both profession specific and interprofessional programme content.

Interprofessional education and experiential learning are cornerstones of the educational approach used within the department, with a particular focus on employability for graduates.
