This year, Oxford University Sport has entered an exciting period of development and growth in facilities and services, with further expansion planned. A recent review came up with a suite of recommendations to ensure that the Department can continue to meet demand and offer the best possible customer experience to the students, staff and local community who use its facilities.
The Business Change and Implementation Manager will be responsible for carrying forward the recommendations, working closely with senior management, staff within the Department and stakeholders to develop a new operating model for the Department, and to ensure that it is resourced appropriately. Communicating developments, listening to and addressing staff and stakeholder concerns, assessing risks, and monitoring and reporting on progress will be key elements of the role.
We are therefore looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic project manager who would relish the opportunity to help the Sports Department deliver a first-class service to its customers and develop further income-generating opportunities. You will have proven experience of problem solving and of managing, influencing and participating in business change initiatives. You will be confident in dealing with financial and organisational information, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely and effectively with all colleagues across the Department.
